I have served as a graphic designer and design consultant for a variety of artistic projects, public events, and marketing campaigns. While graphic design is not the most robust category of my portfolio, it is an area in which I’m comfortable and capable. My design philosophy is based on four pillars: immersion, storytelling, interactivity/play, and sense-of-belonging. I use these guiding principles to create visual materials that inject thinking and play into everyday mundane experiences, leave lasting impressions in viewers’ minds, and entice them with the prospect of “being a part of something.” This design philosophy can be observed not just on this page, but throughout my website.

“More Efficient Way to Make Tea”

A playful instructional sheet for a children’s music-learning installation. Created during my master’s studies in Music and Media Technologies at Trinity College, Dublin. This printout teaches users how to use a flute and microphone provided with the installation to play musical pitches and fill squares on a screen, sending a signal to a little robot to make a cup of tea.
